Published works have articles by 33 authors: researchers and professionals who are active in the market
On Wednesday, October 23, one of the teams of the FAPESP Shell Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI) will release two books at Livraria da Vila, in São Paulo: Regulating Natural Gas in Brazil, organized by Professor Hirdan Katarina de Medeiros Costa, and Legal Aspects of Carbon Capture and Storage in Brazil, organized by Professor Costa and Raíssa Mendes Musarra. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with the presence of some of the authors of articles in the two books. Livraria da Vila is located at 1731 Alameda Lorena, in the Jardim Paulista district.
“The books are the result of the efforts and commitment of the entire research team. Without the hard work of each one, it would have been impossible to publish these two works,” said Ms. Costa, who is the Coordinator of RCGILex, the platform that brings together and analyzes the legal and regulatory frameworks applied to the Brazilian natural gas sector. RCGILex was conceived within the scope of the RCGI’s Project 21.
The book, Regulating Natural Gas in Brazil, presents 21 authors and 15 articles. “We closely monitored all regulatory movements of the gas industry in last several years, so the book reflects the country’s most accurate and recent research. We also have contributions by the most important professionals active in the market,” the professor emphasized.
The book, Legal Aspects of Carbon Capture and Storage in Brazil, presents 14 articles written by 11 authors, who are equally qualified researchers and professionals. It shows the result of the group’s research on the subject over the last two years. “With excellence, we pulled academia and the daily experience of industry together. I am honored to organize these works and to have the support of professionals and researchers so dedicated to the cause of disseminating knowledge and to extending the results of research and education to all of society.”
The works were published by Editora Lumen Juris and will soon be available for purchase on the company’s site, https://lumenjuris.com.br/
