The workshop “The Fund for the Expansion of Gas Pipelines of Transport and Production Flow: legislative proposals and their possible effects” will take place next Wednesday (27.03), at 2:00 p.m. Organized by RCGILex (project 21 of RCGI’s portfolio), the event is open to the public and will be held at the Nucleus of Fluid Dynamics (NDF) of the Polytechnic School of USP (Poli / USP). Registrations can be made free of charge by email email@example.com.
The theme will be presented by Israel Lacerda de Araújo, geologist and legislative advisor to the Federal Senate. He will speak on three proposals to create an accounting fund for financing the expansion of the natural gas transportation infrastructure submitted to the Brazilian parliament’s discussion in recent years: the Draft Law for the Conversion of Provisional Measure No. 817, of 2017 (DUTOBRAS); the substitute of Bill 6,407, of 2016, presented by the then rapporteur, Deputy Marcelo Squassoni, at the end of 2018; and the substitute of Bill No. 10,985, of 2018 (which modifies the pre-salt legal framework and creates BRASDUTO).
