BECCS is the acronym for Bioenergy Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage.
It is a technology or a set of technologies that associate biomass energy jobs with carbon capture and storage, a process always carried out on a large scale. With this, it is possible to sequester the carbon present in the atmosphere.
The program aims to contribute to building a positive public perception of BECCS and influencing the design of public sustainability policies for the Brazilian energy system.
